Internal communications with staff are critical to transparency and staff satisfaction. A CEO blog internally can be a tremendous platform for communication. This can cause the staff to be very invested in the company and motivated. The executive must come across as authentic (convincing others you believe in what you post), and post on a regular basis.
Your assignment is to post to your staff in a blog format on the discussion board. The topic choice is up to you. You will be graded on tone (not authoritative or condescending), level of engagement, how interesting the post comes across, authenticity, detail, and focus. This clearly requires some thought before posting. Your initial post should be a minimum of 250 words.
