Dear Jennifer,
I was glad you and your team chose this middle range theory because of its importance in the nursing field. Nursing is known for being such a caring profession greatly in part because of the situations we are presented with. Effectively implementing this theory across all nursing areas would positively impact patients and their family members. My question is how would you ensure this theory is properly implemented in a unit? As new nurses enter the field they may be unsure as to how to behave in certain cirsumstances, by the same token as nurses continue to work they may experience burn-out or become desensitized. Therefore how would you ensure all nurses regardless of their experience as a nurse implement this theory in their patients and family members?
